FITIV supports both Apple Music and Spotify, so you can listen without leaving your session.

How does music control work in FITIV?

You can play, pause, skip, or change music during a workout. Once enabled, music controls appear inside your in-workout screen.

This lets you stay focused without switching apps.

How do I use Apple Music with FITIV?

You can connect Apple Music to control songs directly in the app.

Step 1: Enable Apple Music access

You will be asked the first time you try to use music.

Or you can enable it manually:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone

  2. Scroll down and tap Apps > FITIV Pulse

  3. Toggle on the Media & Apple Music option

Step 2: Control music during a workout

Once enabled, you can control music in two ways:

  • Swipe to the leftmost workout screen to open music controls

You will then see controls to:

  • Play or pause music

  • Skip tracks

  • Open Apple Music to choose songs

How do I control music on Apple Watch?

You can control music directly from your Apple Watch during a workout.

Steps:

  1. Start a workout on your Apple Watch

  2. Swipe to the right

  3. Use the music controls screen

From here, you can:

  • Play or pause

  • Skip songs

  • Adjust your music without leaving the workout

How do I use Spotify with FITIV?

FITIV lets you quickly open Spotify during your workout.

Step 1: Connect Spotify

  1. Open FITIV Pulse

  2. Go to More

  3. Tap Data Sharing & Partners

  4. Select Spotify

  5. Tap Connect Spotify

Step 2: Use Spotify during workouts

Once connected, a Spotify button appears during your workout.

Tap it to open Spotify and control your music.

Note: Spotify control happens in the Spotify app, not directly inside FITIV.

What is the difference between Apple Music and Spotify?

  • Apple Music: Full control inside FITIV

  • Spotify: Quick access shortcut to the Spotify app

Choose the one that fits how you like to listen.

What should I do if music is not working?

If you cannot control music, check the following:

  • Make sure permissions are enabled in iPhone settings

  • Confirm Apple Music or Spotify is installed and logged in

  • Restart the app if controls do not appear
