FITIV Pulse now connects directly to Google Health™. If you use a Fitbit®, including Fitbit Air, you can bring your activity, sleep and body data into FITIV and turn it into clear recovery and training guidance. The connection works both ways, so the workouts you record in FITIV also save back to Google Health.
What is the Google Health integration?
The Google Health integration is a direct, two-way connection between your Google account and FITIV Pulse. You sign in with Google once, and FITIV reads the data your Fitbit or other Google Health device collects.
FITIV also saves the workouts and metrics you record back to Google Health, so both apps stay in sync.
Why connect Google Health to FITIV Pulse?
Your Fitbit collects a lot of data. FITIV turns it into daily guidance you can act on, so you know when to push and when to recover.
With Google Health connected, FITIV uses your activity, body metrics, sleep, GPS and nutrition data to power:
- Workout analytics for every session
- Recovery insights based on your sleep and body data
- Route maps for your GPS activities
How do I connect Google Health to FITIV Pulse?
- Open FITIV Pulse on your iPhone.
- Tap the More tab (•••), then tap Google Health.
- Tap Connect Google Health.
- Choose the Google account linked to your Fitbit, or tap Use another account.
- Review the access request and tap Continue. If Google shows a second confirmation screen, tap Continue again.
- FITIV returns to the Google Health screen and starts syncing your data.
Success Tip: When the connection is active, the Google Health screen shows your Google account name and email, the Workout Sync setting and a Disconnect button.
Info Tip: Recovery insights need a few nights of sleep data to set your personal baseline. Keep wearing your device, especially overnight.
How do I choose how workouts sync to Google Health?
The Workout Sync setting on the Google Health screen controls how your FITIV workouts reach Google Health:
- Auto: every workout you finish in FITIV saves to Google Health automatically.
- Manual: workouts only save to Google Health when you choose to send them.
To change it, go to More tab (•••) > Google Health and tap Auto or Manual.
What if my data is not syncing?
Most sync issues come down to the account or permissions. Check these first:
- Make sure the email on the Google Health screen is the same Google account your Fitbit uses.
- Open the Google Health app so your Fitbit syncs its latest data.
- If workouts are missing in Google Health, check that Workout Sync is set to Auto.
- Tap Disconnect, then tap Connect Google Health and sign in again.
- Update FITIV Pulse and Google Health to the latest version.
⚠️ Alert Tip: If you did not allow access to some data during sign-in, that data will not sync until you disconnect, connect again and allow it.
