Solution: Match Your Siri and Device Language Settings to Enable Apple Intelligence
To activate Apple Intelligence and access the FITIV AI Coach, your device and Siri must use the same language and region settings.
Alert Tip: This feature is available only on iPhone models with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or later) and requires iOS 26 or later.
Solution 1: Check iPhone Language Settings
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap General → Language & Region.
- Tap iPhone Language and choose your preferred language.
- Restart your iPhone if prompted.
Coach Tip: Matching both the language and region is essential. A mismatch will prevent Apple Intelligence from working.
Solution 2: Set the Language for Apple Intelligence
- Open the Settings app.
- Go to Apple Intelligence & Siri → Language.
- Select the same language as used on your iPhone and FITIV app.
Alert Tip: If your Siri and iPhone languages do not match exactly (for example, "English – US" vs "English – Canada"), Apple Intelligence will not activate. The FITIV Coach will not appear or function.
Solution 3: Change FITIV App Language (Optional)
Once Apple Intelligence is enabled by matching Siri and device settings, you can change the FITIV app language to receive AI Coach responses in your preferred language.
- Open the FITIV Pulse app.
- Tap the Profile tab.
- Tap the gear icon (⚙️) in the top-right corner.
- Tap App Language and select the same language as your iPhone.
Success Tip: The FITIV app language does not need to match your device or Siri language. You can personalize the Coach output language once Apple Intelligence is active.
